Sometimes it's nice to have external feedback

For students of the Discover Your Voice course from the Zeitgeist Academy, a voice lesson with me is a great way to top off the course and cement the concepts you've learned!

When you have completed the course material, you are eligible to book a lesson with me. This is a great way to get some personalized feedback on what your personal talents or struggles might be, and answer any questions you have about any of the course content.

What happens in this lesson?

Here's the groundwork you'll need to do first:

  1. If you haven't already, finish the course
  2. Choose what song you want to work on with me
  3. Start working on it yourself enough that you can sing through at least the first verse or two
  4. Purchase the lesson here and send me some times that work for you
  5. Before the lesson, warm up on your own first! That way we can use our time most efficiently.

Then, during our 30-minute session, I'll give you personalized guidance on your voice that you can take with you into your journey with music! This can include any of the following:

  • Where your specific blocks may be (Breath? Support? Pitch?) and how to work through them
  • Tips on adjusting vowels or diction to make your song shine
  • Help finding and navigating your vocal break
  • Where your voice is already very strong and how to amplify that part of it

This time is for you, so come with any questions you can think of!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund if I'm unhappy with my lesson?

If you are unsatisfied with your lesson, reach out to see if your purchase is eligible for a refund. Generally 1:1 lessons are NOT refund eligible.

How do I schedule my lesson?

Upon purchasing the lesson, you'll receive further instructions on how to book a time for your appointment.

Can I purchase a lesson more than once?

I am not currently accepting new ongoing students. If you would like to continue with private lessons after your lesson with me, I will be happy to point you to some resources and give you advice on how to find a regular teacher.

Does a virtual lesson work?

Absolutely! I've been teaching voice virtually for the last 2 years and it works great! I've found students are more comfortable in their home environment and most internet connections work great.
